Finance Operations & Accounting-Accounts Receivables Intern

Meet our Team:

Join our Finance Operations team as a Finance Operations Intern (m/f/d) in our Berlin office and work alongside experienced professionals. You will be a fundamental element to all revenue and costs processing topics, managing billing documents while working closely with a senior counterpart to help automate, document, and improve our processes.

Make an Impact by:

• Support managing accounts receivable, including invoicing and reconciliation.

• Manage communications with our internal and external stakeholders.

• Analyze root cause problems if any data issues arise.

• Support the finance team with projects: S/4HANA & Process Optimization.

• Process documents in our S/4HANA, CRM SAP Sales Cloud and partly JIRA system.

• Suggest changes and improvements to develop our financial operations.

Your Profile:

• Very good written and verbal English. German proficiency is good to have but not necessary.

• Able to start in our office in Berlin for a duration from 6 to 12 months.

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively: Formatting, functions, and tools such as pivot tables.

• Previous experience in operational accounting or a role managing financial transactions is beneficial.

• Previous experience with S/4HANA / SAP, CRM SAP Sales Cloud, or similar systems is advantageous.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, hands-on mentality.

• Solid interpersonal and inter-cultural skill set with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate.

• Optional/Plus: Knowledge of operations optimization, database querying (SQL, Big Query, Snowflake), Python programming, or automation skills.
